I thought I might be using the small camera(top) shelf for Samsung's One Connect box

no tools needed unless you need to set up the top shelf option; which will require you to have a screwdriver.

We use the top shelf for the center surround speaker, the shelf under the TV for the DVD/surround sound unit, and the lowest shelf for the subwoofer (it has to be sideways but doesn't seem to affect sound quality).
