Our family room is configured in such a way that there isn't enough space on either wall next to the fireplace (patio doors on each side), so this was a great solution to set up our 50" TV, Roku, DVD player, Wii, and surround sound system.

The bottom of the TV cart has enough space to hold two additional surround speakers along with the main power surge strip.
