For the price, I would definitely pick this up if you get hand cramps or seem to re adjust your hands a lot when playing the DS

This grip would be perfect for someone who plans to leave their 2ds XL at home (the grip makes the system too large to put in your pocket) and someone who has trouble with hand cramps
