Set up is simple: plug the cord from the AC adapter into the unit and then put on the right plug adapter plate

There are several plugs for global use, but the system of tabs to secure the plug is kind of weird: you have to get things lined up precisely which is more difficult than you might think

Additionally I have this plugged into a separate 4 port USB 3.0 PCI card in the computer so as to not overwhelm the USB bus on the system and that works very well

Again works great, have 2 hard drives plugged and after the computer is on its easy to turn on both hard drives and can access both.
