I bought this primarily to fast-charge my iPhone X as well as charge a bunch of other devices alongside it

Safety features include surge protection & temperature control (to name a couple) to keep your device safe while charging

For the functionality of charging, this is a compactly designed device in black, perfectly suited for desks charging cell phone, tablets and powering Chromebook / mac books (which support USB-C charging)

The thing that surprised me most is that even though this charger doesn't support normal Qualcomm Quick Charge on the normal USB ports, my Samsung S8+ displays fast charging when using a USB C -> USB C cable

Rest of the ports provide enough charge to charge my other devices at a good clip

Comes in great packaging, and my LG G6 and Essential Phones both get 80% charge in <30 minutes with the fast charging capability via the USB-c port on this too

Charges all my devices at high/fast/rapid charging and it doesn't ever get hot.

Since both my phone and now my new laptop have USB-C charging ports, it would be great if I could charge both of them with USB-C to USB-C charging cables like the ones they came with

The fast charge for iPad (and iPhones) is great if you have the USB-C to lightning cable from Apple

As noted in other reviews, the unit is a bit large for travel, but I find it still acceptable given the # of ports involved including the fast charging USB-C one for compatible devices, which noticeably charges my iPhone X more rapidly than both its OEM charger and even more clearly than a wireless charging pad I also own.

Do not trust other products that advise they pd charge with the cable and are Qualcomm quick charge compatible as well

I had a problem with the previous version of this product, where the USB-C port just stopped working and charging at all, however Anker customer support was great

The Anker 30W charger would be great for smaller computers and fast charging phones; it was extremely well built

For those looking to fast charge your Samsung phones, the Quick Charge (QC) ports are still preferred

but I wish that Anker would make a charger that would have PD as well as Qualcomm charge.

Going into the product I knew it would be of typical crazy good Anker quality and have awesome charging, but there were a few hidden unadvertised perks

Fast charging with my USB-C Pixel 2 XL charger works great

I have always relied on Anker for great charging products

so I can't comment on how "compatible" the unit is (as far as fast-charging goes) with these devices

I love that this charge is fast and it can easily move from room to room without problems

Instead it suggests using a USB C to Lightning cable for a fast charge of an iPad.

If I was to be nitpicky, it gets a tad warm when charging 5 devices but never got.

After charging 4 devices at the same time for couple days, I notice that this port does not get hot, but a little warm
