    • I would love to recommend this as a way to save $15 a month on one of those First Alert devices, but there are just too many conditions that need to be met for this thing to work consistently enough without setting of false alarms or being too far away from the smart phone to send any alarms.
    • We've had to agree that calls from me are probably false alarms.
    • Once triggered, the wearer needs to disable the alarm or end the call themselves, which may be fine for most folks but can be problematic if the wearer is not proficient with their smartphone already.

    • this sets off a loud alarm on the phone
    • Most of the time just a false alarm sound
    • it's had 5 false alarms, and only 3 of those could I cancel in time before it called my daughter.

    • Just make sure that the people your phone texts for help are aware that there might be a few false alarms
    • The false alarms for me got annoying
    • Absolutely not good for an older person not adept at handling their phone to cancel false alarms.
    • Obviously it would be far better to have some false alarms than to miss real
    • The device is not as reliable as I'd like as far as connectivity and ability to send the emergency SMS message.
    • it won't work as that's about 40' with a standard hollow core door between.
