This is a genuinely great idea, and it does work as promised, but I'm taking away a star because honestly

Turns out my iPhone is too ancient to work with this device, so I can't really assess the device itself until I replace the phone (not a bad idea every decade or so, anyway), but when I reported that the device wouldn't pair with the phone, I got a prompt response, with several followup emails and suggestions as to the specs of any replacement phone so it would work.
