Vandoren CR1935+ Bb Clarinet V.12 Reeds Strength 3.5+; Box of 10
Size:3.5+
V.12 Bb Clarinet reeds are manufactured from cane tubes with the same diameter as cane used for alto saxophone reeds. As a result, they have a thicker heel and are cut on a longer palette with a slightly thicker tip than Traditional reeds...
The rest seem to be about as good as the Ricos or blue box
The problem is that it seems like it's impossible to get a semi-decent box of these with two good ones and at least a few other usable ones
Compared to Vandoren I feel that other companies give me a better box of reeds with a lower percentage of "duds" that have a way more consistent strength
This recent batch of Vandoren V-12 reeds was one of the most consistent boxes of reeds that I've used in a long time.

As a professional clarinetist who has played a variety of mouthpieces and reeds over the years, it has always been my experience that these thick-blank reeds work best on mouthpieces with a long facing, and usually a mouthpiece with at least a medium tip opening.

while i do love the cheaper vandoren reeds, and maybe it is this box, these reeds are awful..fuzzy sounding...with the cheaper reeds, i get a rich full sound...with these

Vandoren Traditional Reeds works better with my clarinet
Right now I am just experimenting with different reeds, but Vandoren V-12s are my favorites so far.
I've used the Rico Reserve, Rico Reserve Classic, Vandoren Rue Lepic, and Vandoren V12.This is a pretty good reed it's consistent and gives a warm, light, and bright tone
but they produce amazing sound and come in nice packaging.
It is much easier to reach your upper tessitura with these and they give you a warmer, fuller sound on every note

they doesn't sound good, I have problem to avoid squeak sounds
Not too hard or soft, responsive, good sound, and don't chip easily
