Decent reed holder but very overpriced

I felt like my reeds were better and lasted much longer than when in the protectors provided with reeds

I live in the northeastern US where the winters can become fairly dry (say 35% indoor humidity) and without a good reed holder, reed warpage is a definite problem.

Looks cool but isn't a good reed box.

The holding mechanism holds the reeds flat as well.

OK, so I ordered this little kit, after all I've just ruined 6 reeds and I didn't want to risk things using non-Vandoren parts - after all they (the folks at Vandoren) designed this system, so they MUST know what they're doing

I got a fresh batch going of my beloved rigotti reeds

I have trouble removing the reeds, and I don't think that the device keeps the reeds all that flat - not enough pressure
