I bought this item because I dropped my netbook on the floor, transforming it from a reliable little computer to a very expensive paperweight

my computer fell appart, and i didn't want to loose everything when i got a new one

I would recommend this enclosure to anybody who had a computer fail and needed their information off of the failed computer

I got this to make an external USB drive from a drive I salvaged from a dead computer.

It was a good thing that my computer or drive weren't damaged

My computer crapped the bed and I had files on there that I needed for school.

Computer couldn't read the HDD content, need to physically unplug it out (safe eject wouldn't work), and plug in again and all is well until the computer is being rebooted again

Connect well to computer, great purchase.

ONLY able to draw power from the USB bus, which can cause issues if your computer is incapable of powering all the devices hooked to that bus.

I was very pleased buy this product,how easy it was to use and how well built it is,I would very much recommend this for anyone who's computer/laptop that crashed and wants to save there data,this is a must have,

The usb cable has two ends so just in case your computer or laptop isn't powerful enough to supply power through the one port you can use two

Then plug it into your (good) computer.

I have had no problems using a single USB to microUSB cable (2M, good quality) with the unit rather than the dual USB to microUSB cable supplied with it
