I wanted an adjustable desk that I could easily maneuver up and down (I got the FlexiSpot 35" on AmazonSmile after a lot of research - see my review there) because of my back

Too bad really because as I said, their desks are great

The chair "rolls" with the 360 base which helps train you to maintain better posture.

It has a rounded, globe like seating surface which helps promote balance and good posture, but it is hard as a rock.

It made me have good posture to sit up straight since I have been slouching in a chair for so long my back hurt after several hours

VariDesk was great with the return, though, and I had no issues or out-of-pocket costs to try this chair out and then return it if I didn’t like it.

I have a Varidesk at home and at work and since I like their products so far of all the similar

but I suppose that would be impossible with the "wobble" design element.

I love the concept and design, but the cushion is so hard, my butt goes numb.

I think between the really hard seat and the very wobbly "active" base -- the stool is just a bit too active and uncomfortable

I would not recommend for anyone my height or shorter or anyone who prefers a seat with more cushioning.

If you stand in front of the seat and plant your feet on the base, you can lean back on the seat (such that the seat is leaning backwards).
