He says the headphones have done a great job reducing the noise, but not too much to impact his practice.

Does a great job softening a great deal of sounds, but you can still hear people talking to you.

I have two sons on the autism spectrum who are occasionally bothered by noise, and these do a great job!

These do a great job of blocking the percussive abuse your ears take while playing, but the adjustability is nearly non-existent, and adjustments that you do make tend to not stay put.

I use them with my earbuds/ipod, and this setup is a nice alternative to those expensive isolation stereo headphones.

They work pretty good, the only thing is the wire holding the earmuffs comes out rather easily when handling.

The weird thing about these are especially if you do not know or are not too good at tuning,

and I could only feel the music in my body and could barely hear the actual music.(and that's a good thing!

We use these when going to the hospital (which is very loud and confusing when you are unable to censor out and ignore background noises)

I've now put him in charge of the vacuuming and the loud noise is a non-issue
