    Vic Firth Stereo Isolation Headphones.

    • That is not doing your ears any favors
    • No more ringy ears after practice!Problems with the cans: they will squeeze the hell out of your ears
    • My solution is to buy a pair of inexpensive isolation ear buds and a pair of job sight ear muffs
    • These headphones make the noise outside much quieter and keeps you from having to turn the music on the inside too high and hurting your ears
    • I also like that mu drums sound better than open ear cans.
    • Whether you get these or other headphones, protect your ears, you only have one pair.
    • My nine-year-old is a drummer and would never wear anything to protect his ears spite my insisting
    • Vic Firth was nice about the issue; 2) these do not last more than a year or so without needing jiggling of the cable to get both ears to work (or fixing); 3) you can get these to last for a pretty long time (years) as long as you are willing to jiggle the cable to get both ears to work (or dissect it to fix it and then live with duct tape, etc.); 4) message to Vic Firth - you need to use a thicker gauge wire and/or a wire with tougher insulation material
    • Great sound and ear protection, while at the same time having the ability to listen to music so you can play along and still hear your drums as you play along, or just use them on their own to protect your ears
    • It is really tight fitting and bulky, not to mention I don't exactly look cool playing with them, but they do a great job of letting you hear the music clearly so you can play acoustic drums along to songs and protect your ears.
    • Drummers, protect your ears!
    • Some over ear headphones distort outside sound horribly
    • This was used to play with my drum module and one day hearing in right ear just disappears
    • They are very comfortable for about an hour to an hour and a half, then your ear get sweaty and sore
    • The pocket in the headphones was not large enough for my ear to fit inside comfortable, so within a few minutes they begin to make my ears very tender.
    • You can hear clearly your drums while playing using this isolation headphone, and it protects your ears from the loud sound caused by the cymbals and whole drum's pieces!
    • so I could play to a backing track while actually being able to hear the music and protect my ears.
    • I am a drummer so it helps a lot with it not hurting my ears.
    • Before suggesting that my ears are the issue, I make sure to protect my hearing every time I
    • I would say that a pair of these are more effective than a set of Bose noise-canceling ears
    • My right ear starts hurting after excessive use, but i think it depends on ear size, personal preference, and a lot of other factors
    • I have two teenager drummers in the house and these work perfectly for protecting their ears while practicing
    • I purchased these as my custom molds with 20db attenuators no longer cut it in reducing the volume enough (maybe my playing has gotten louder) and I end up getting clogged ear canals
    • He controls the volume to the headset and the surrounding volume does not hurt his ears
    • These headphones not only protect my ears, they also improve the quality of the sound
    • These headphones help block out the sound and protect your ears
    • My ears are sensitive and the Vic Firth headphones allow me to hear more at a low volume level, which I like
    • I've been wearing them for about an hour today and my ears hurt from being squished and the top of my head hurts from not being able to adjust the headphones to a larger size
    • My right ear starts hurting after excessive use, but i think it depends on ear size, personal preference, and a lot of other factors
    • Starting to get crackling in the right ear when I move my head
    • I have always made my own isolation headphones using construction style ear muffs and old school headphones (with the plastic headband).
    • Another thing, I don't know what materials they used, but your ears feel pretty hot pretty quickly, much more so than in any ear muffs I used before
    • I found these to be priceless....after playing for 27 years without ear protection, I was using these headphones religiously, until I took them off and kind of tossed them to the side of the kit one day
