If you're reading these reviews, you may get the impression that the Vic Firth Headphones are of good quality but may have some issues

All told, though, they're a solid pair with good quality, which is definitely magnified by the extremely effective isolation.

Great quality and does exactly what I need them for... canceling out some sound for hearing protection while allowing me to plug in to play along with CD's.

The build quality is robust, and the sound is good so you really can't go wrong with pair (or more) of these around.
