    • It's much like noise cancelling pretty much beautifies the drum sounds and makes the bass way more enjoyable
    • For context, I also have Seinnhesser HD-280s PRO headphones and I am extremely pleased with them, as they also have decent sound insulation and seem to have excellent sound quality for the price
    • However, the sound just isn't loud enough
    • These headphones have been improved from the last generation with padding that is more comfortable and conforms to the head better for a more secure sound barrier

    • the sound stage is average, but thats expected from a pair of closed monitors.i own a pair of senn hd598, so most headphones sound mediocre compared to them, but these girls actually compete

    • They also don't distort out side sound
    • While they are not mixing headphones, they are definitely great at muting as they have always done as well as getting a clear, good sounding signal to track against.

    • The sound is as good as any headphones I've ever owned, and they block out the loudest noises, yet you can still hear the softer sounds well enough to talk to someone standing near you
    • It does excaltly what you expect it to do, the sound is clear and natural, no overbass, need to get use to the pinched head because it is tight.
    • I highly recommend the 280s over a pair of SIH1, I have never heard my DM10x kit sound so great.
    • Overtones are cut out and really rich sound cuts through
    • However, the price was great, and the sound is good
    • Blocks the sound quite well, so good for A drum, at the expsense of tightness and mediocre audio quality
    • Great sound and comfortable.
    • Isolated sound very well, but still able to hear your drums, make them sound quite good
    • For the price, these headphones have a great sound and are perfect for use in drumming or other musical applications.

    • They kill the drums sound down to a low volume and really save your ears from the beating they take without ear plugs
    • Pros-The sound with these headphones is acceptable (but not great.)-They are solid sound isolation headphones and do that job well.
    • Great sound and ear protection, while at the same time having the ability to listen to music so you can play along and still hear your drums as you play along, or just use them on their own to protect your ears

    • Again the sound and isolation is great, but hopefully this trick will help those who will probably encounter this problem at some point.
    • You can hear clearly your drums while playing using this isolation headphone, and it protects your ears from the loud sound caused by the cymbals and whole drum's pieces!
    • however if I find a pair that produces an awesome yet still safe sound from the drums then that'd be perfect, if they exist.
    • The sound is great, but there are a couple of things I don't like.
    • Construction is very good and made not in China but here in the U.S.A.!Excellent sound from my ipod and metronome
    • Overall, though, both headhones are great products and offer fantastic hearing protection and decent sound, although I'd have to give the Howard Leight set the edge on bass, versatility, and price.
    • I'm no audiophile, but do play guitar, mando and dulcimer, and for me these phones deliver a good, well rounded sound
    • I use them for practising on my Roland V Drums and the sound is crisp and clear

    • They do isolate the sound so your ears are not blasted.
    • The thought of working on walls in your jam/practice room to et best sound and thought of getting very high cost drum kit made of best wood, all this things are gone, it feels like you got a new and different sounding best drum kit and main
    • Instead of that raw, clanky sound of live hats, you get a muted, smoother sound like you would hear on a MP3
