My Polk Audio Monitor (bookshelf) speakers are a little top heavy and are leaning against the wall for stability, which is OK as they are my back surround speakers for my 7.1 system
-
Like others have said, these are top-heavy and will fall over if not secured somehow
-
if your going to be moving your speakers around i would not recommend because these are very top heavy and not the most sturdy.

I would put maybe 5-10 pounds max on these stands otherwise they get too top heavy and a slight breeze will topple them over

Can get a bit top heavy depending on speakers without great support from below

Secondly, it is too light at the base, which when holding a monitor, makes the top heavy and bottom unstable; and if you have expensive monitor speakers, you don't want it toppling down and smashing on the floor, despite the available strap/screw holes provided on the side clamps

, they will be a little top heavy if studio sized speakers are mounted, and thus they may tip over if bumped.2 - the good news is that US Weight Tailgater Canopy Weights here on Amazon fit perfectly around the pole and on the base

This may be true, but the stands would be ridiculously top heavy and wobbly(especially on carpets), having only an 8"x 8" base with rubber feet

They are a bit top heavy

Honestly my 20lb speaker was so top heavy that a strong breeze could topple it over

With my set up, the stands seem to be a bit top heavy

As a result, they feel very top heavy and insecure

I was concerned my speakers would make these top heavy, but no problem.

They are a bit top-heavy with the speakers attached but that's easily remedied with canopy weights at the bottom (also from amazon)Quik Shade Canopy Weight Plate Set

These speakers make the stands a little top-heavy, but there would need to be a deliberate hit to knock them over
-
These are a bit top-heavy, so I bought and stacked a few 5 lb olympic weights (with 2" diameter holes).

They are too top heavy and just fall over

They will fit bigger speakers, but I would be worried they would be a bit top heavy.

A little top heavy but nothing to be concerned about

Once I placed a relatively-small studio monitor on it (PreSonus E5), the entire stand became top-heavy and wobbly

Without screwing them down, they are quite top heavy and can easily fall.

This makes the entire set up rather top-heavy and unstable

Getting this balanced was a little tricky, and since these speakers are rounded on the bottom instead of having sharper edges, the clamp doesn't quite go up high enough to fit these as well as I would like
-
I'm confused as to why those things were in there in the first place.c
-
Worked exactly as I expected.
-
These stands, as bad as they are out of the box, are a good start to build to your liking.
-
A fact I appreciate especially as I'm just too busy to build anything right now, but not too busy to sit and have a listen to my favourite tunes in sheer enjoyment when I have a spare moment to myself.

They work exactly as you would expect, though running the cable down and out the stand can be tricky, but you only have to do it once
