It comes with a new container, cookbook, and tamper but the blades are reused, if less than one year old & undamaged.

Unfortunately, you cannot removed the blade without a special tool and the blades are sharp (unlike the blendtec), so be careful.

The blades aren't that sharp, won't cut you, but the points are sharp enough to poke if you don't pay attention

The Vitamix is also better at chopping thanks to the sharper blades
