    VOX AP2BS amPlug Bass G2 Guitar Headphone Amp

    • The built in delay effect sounds good on "setting 1" which is the fastest delay (setting 3, the slowest delay is suitable if you want to make some weird noises), the reverb effect sounds best to me on "setting 1".
    • It also made a weird clicking noise when picking the strings
    • The controls can eventually be configured to eliminate noise/static/etc
    • I would easily give this 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that I, like many other reviewers, have experienced the wretched noise this thing makes when the solder joint (or surface mount components) come loose from the adjustable TS jack attached to the unit.
    • Tried it in an electric and an acoustic electric that don't have a static noise on other amps

    • But what annoys me the most is that it is not silent, there is a humming noise going on especially if your change the "tone" dial
    • Surprisingly noiseless - but my guitar is well shielded and low noise to begin with.
    • As I am relatively new to the guitar, having the AmPlug to practice with has helped phenomenally with getting used to the several aspects of amplified guitar playing, such as practicing to eliminate the weird noises that you don't hear when unplugged, but is noticeable when plugged into an amp, and finding the different sounds you can get from an amplifier-guitar combination
