I enjoy practicing without disturbing others and this is perfect

A selfish egotistical guitar player will give it three or four stars for its sonic limitations, but for the money: this is the best practice "amp" out there
-

Pros:- Good sound with guitar and bass, with or without a pedal board.- Super compact, easy setup for quiet, personal practice.- Nice simple onboard effects make it easy and fun if you just want to tinker on the guitar (no pedal board).

The Vox AmPlug Classic Rock is an excellent practice tool.

It's a great practice amp, and allows me to play without waking the room mates

Really awesome for silent practice or while on the go all I need is my bass and my box am

Nonetheless for the amount of money I paid it is a great practice tool that does not require me to carry an amp around
-
As Advertised great practice tool

The noise level is much lower than I expected, actually it will not bother your practice at all
-
I got this to use with a Traveler Ultra-light Guitar for trips and quiet practice ... the jack in the Traveler seems touchy at best, which doesn't help, but even when I was getting good, solid signal, I wasn't too happy with the sound through the VOX.
-
We're gonna build a wall around other personal portable practice amps, that I can tell you

The sound is acceptable, if your goal is to just get some quiet practice in

It is the perfect practice tool

while they are both great practice tools, this newer 'Blues' version beats out the 'Twin' with a better overdrive/crunch ... it also has the Twin's 'chorus' effect, while adding both 'reverb',and 'echo' effects ... the swivel-plug is a nice improvement, as well ... plug in your music player, and play along with it, too ...
-

This is a convenient solution for silent practicing, and it has some cool features like built-in drum beats and different input modes for passive and active basses

Of course it doesn't sound exactly like a $1500 tube amp, but for $40, it is an excellent practice tool

Works as it's supposed to- practice so the world doesnt have to hear.
-
The volume of the beat machine is also adjustable so you can have it as low or as cranked as you'd like.
-
This thing is really as great as it gets
