These are a great phone system and we added two more for second floor in old cottage.

I bought three of these additional handsets to go with the main phone, and they, together, create a very nice system.

Vtech sells many very expensive systems as well.

Just make sure you have the right system and it is charged fully.

Anyway, I love this phone system and have had it for years which explains somewhat why I was springloaded to charger failure rather than cat attack.
