There are several useful features when it is working

So many people seem to want every fancy feature they can get but at the end of the day we just wanted to be able to hear our daughter crying or making noise

The nightlight on the baby unit is a nice feature.

I find myself putting my ear to the monitor to make sure it is still working even though it is linked, but every time I'm linked and realize what a great feature it is, they don't make the background noice like a sleep machine loud on the parent monitor, it only reacts when a loud noice happens like the baby moves or cries out which makes trying to hold a conversation so much easier

Lovely feature when you finally successfully get baby down to sleep, realize in the next room over that you need to link the units only to have the inevitable loud message come on and wake your baby

This baby monitor has some cool features, and it was highly rated on Wirecutter.com, which is why we decided to get it (as a replacement for the one we had, which was terrible)

From the moment I opened it, it had to be always plugged in to work as there is no battery feature (the batteries are defective)

Highly recommend as long as you want a no frills just reliable audio monitor!

We keep it hooked up to the charger throughout the entire night to make sure the battery does not run out and turns it off which keeps it working as we need it to
