We all know the stock rubber duck antenna is not that great compared to adding a good antenna.

This antenna extended the range of my baofeng uv5r and gt3 to about 4 miles i would recommend these antennas.

This being the 2nd best upgrade, behind the extended batteries being the 1st, me and my best friend were able to communicate using FRS to reach out to beyond 5 miles, with clarity using this antenna, given that I live in a higher elevation from my home to his workplace, they worked great, have yet to really test them out with GMRS and HAM radio frequencies.
