    WD 1TB My Book AV DVR Expander External Hard Drive - USB 2.0 - WDBABT0010HBK-NESN

    • Now we have PLENTY of memory and do not have to continually 'clean up' our Comcast DVR.
    • I have searched Comcast message boards regarding the DCX3400 and it seems like their attitude is give the WD external drive a chance and if it doesn't work properly, you can get a compatible DVR instead.
    • Simply to setup with my TWC DVR (SA-8300HD), just plug it in after the DVR was already on & it prompts to format the drive.
    • I need the extra storage and I don't know if I should return the drive or buy two switchable outlets to make AC disconnection and rebooting the drive and DVR easier
