The WD Expander does work properly and is quiet

where close to being enough, and now with the Expander Hard Drive we have all the shows we have to see but haven't and ave only used 35% of the drive

After reading about problems on this unit due to bad E-SATA cables being supplied by WD, I bought another brand from AMAZON, and that fixed the problem

Others have had problems with e sata cable but mine worked fine.

The E-Sata cable works without issue

Doing that would double my storage to about 400MB.I ignored the advice and ordered this WD unit in the hopes that will work as it did for others using the 8300HD boxes
