    WD 3TB My Cloud Personal Network Attached Storage - NAS - WDBCTL0030HWT-NESN

    • No systematic and proven way to recover and establish a consistent solid connection enough to backup your data reliably.
    • It loses connection all the time especially when moving large amounts of data(I am using to store full and incremental image backups of my and wife's computers
    • Lose connection all the time working with ethernet, to slow access, either with wireless or ethernet connection
    • I recommend gigabit ethernet connection with your computer and external drive is connected to your computer's USB 3 port for maximum speed
    • After about a day, I've lost connection to the admin page after even setting its IP address to fixed
    • Constantly loses connection; can't connect to more than 2/3 of the files I uploaded (which only took up 1/2 the hard drive space); more often than not am getting errors that the unit is unable to sync and may require firmware updates, even if a firmware update was completed the day before

    • It is very easy to attach to your home network and you can access it over the internet so in reality one could place the actual drive at a different location for extra protection if you have a sufficiently fast internet connection
