It might be a good idea to create an alias (shortcut) of this folder that you can paste into the sidebar so you don't have to navigate to it

Good idea for home use I would recommend that WD fixes the issues with this drive to protect their good reputation in the industry

I really love the idea of this personal cloud storage, and it does indeed do what it says it does, but from a software standpoint it's not yet all it could be.

I returned it because while the idea is incredible the fact that it can only be accessed via wifi (even to my base computer where everything runs through) it makes uploading and accessing files very very slow

(Which you have to go into your router to find what IP it's been assigned unless you set it up for a static IP, not a bad idea, but that has it's own issues.

DHCP on a NAS is a remarkably bad idea

Western Digital's idea is good, but problems abound and this product is FAR from the advertised "plug and play".

I can access all of this from my Window and Mac PC's, as well as, my smart Phones and tablets.

I use it for DLNA, Mac backup and mountable drive as well as for PC.
