The WD My Cloud was purchased to replace another product after Apple released an OS X update that screwed up the works communicating with my previous network drive

WD is basically saying u are not good enough to have the newest software bcoz u bought the cheapest product, thank u WD.

I can access all of this from my Window and Mac PC's, as well as, my smart Phones and tablets.

I use it for DLNA, Mac backup and mountable drive as well as for PC.
