You have to copy/paste or drag and drop files that you want to put on the drive and the software is just terrible to use.

In short, the drive is fine when you don't need it; when you most need it, the software makes file retrieval too difficult, and sometimes impossible.

The disk supports the TimeMachine software on the Mac and the Windows backup as well

if you want to access the drive you have to use a VERY BAD and BUGGY software that besides being extremely slow will ask you to accept a certificate every 5 seconds, plus the interface is so annoying that you have to review picture by pictures because it does not have the option to have a preview
