While the unit is expandable with USB ports, 4tb after raid is suitable for most home users

I dont know if these issues have been fixed in newer editions or not, but ive decided to just buy a portable 3 TB drive, and manually update my computers.

I would have purchased a 8 - 10 TB hard drive and hooked it up with a hard drive enclosure and been done with it

however it did force me to purchase a 2TB portable hd and attach it.
