I like to be able to access to video clips i made with my phone or camera and display them on my smart tv via DLNA server
-
I am using it with multiple iOS devices and macs in my family, time machine back-ups are easy to set up, share videos with any DLNA capable TV as well
-
I can watch any movie I own on my phone, PS4, smart TV, tablet, or in just about any browser
-
Sounds like that TV show American Greed, Scoundrels and Cheats or whatever.
-
It's accessible by all my LAN devices: PCs, Smart TV, Smart Phone, Tablet, etc.
-
It should also be able to guide you on setup with smart TV as it says
-
your computer, your smart TV too.you can cast it from your Mobile if you want
-
Even better we have enjoyed streaming content from the drive to multiple devices - our main TV, my son's iPad as well as a friends TV - at the same time
-
Also my smart TV is on the network with cat5 line.
-
As there is no installation software for PC, Mac or Smart TV, you can right away access to it
-
I had this drive for about 3 years now and never had a problem, if I disconnect the power or the router it may take a min to fully load on my smart TV but nothing else.
-
I bought this several months ago to use as a network drive accessible from all computers on our home WiFi network (including our Sonos speakers and Smart TV).
-
Sounds like that TV show American Greed, Scoundrels and Cheats or whatever.
-
Use it to host movies for my house as smart TV recognizes it right away
-
But with many people getting smart TV's now, they can have access to their storage from online to where they can stream movies and rentals from online on your television
-
They were hoping to put all their dvd movies on this so they could stream it to their smart tv.
-
It is also a convenient and strong way of having your devices from your tablets and Smart TV's share your media into one small convenient device
-
Also, you have the opportunity to use it as a DLNA for all your movie with your smart tv.
-
but it's not very responsive, even on a gigabit connection, and the DLNA doesn't seem to want to connect to any of my smart TV's
-
FANTASTIC FEATURES!DLNA support - connect it to your Smart TV and stream from itGood security and management settings - Provide access to only the people you want to access
-
Works perfectly with all computers and SMART TVs
-
Guess what there is no app that works with their smart tv, u cannot install apps on this device thanks for not mentioning that in your sales pitch WD.
-
And am just amazed at how our smart TV sees it and can access it just fine for videos, pics, and music
-
My LG smart TV saw them -- but a lot of good that did me.
-
Works well for storing my movies on to pair up to my LG Smart TV.
