    • Tech support offered to ship a new one which will take 7
    • I verified all this with WD Tech Support they said "This Is By Design"
    • First con: the thing comes with almost nothing in the way of instructionsSecond con: once you hunt down the on line guidance, you have to know a lot to get it to actually workThird con: if you need help, don't bother emailing tech support
    • I (with tech support) could not get TimeMachine to run on the second computer, but I can get the sync feature to work,
    • Had to email tech support to find out how to stream my videos onto the smart tv
    • So I've used this thing for maybe 6-8 months now (I had it for a while and didn't set it up).I did NOT use the tech support, and hardly used the website at all save to download the software
