It's been working great for months

and it's been working well so far.

Since I'm using this drive to expand my XBOX One's storage, I can't say much to its PC performance (although when I first got it, my PC instantly recognized and set-up the drive connected via USB 2.0), but it's worked without a hitch on the XBOX One and I can wholeheartedly recommend it for that.

This hard drive has been very reliable and worked wonderful the whole time.

This one has been working great so far with no issues at all even after so many months of weekly use.

I've ruled out the cable, USB hub, motherboard port, and even the motherboard USB controller (as mine has two - used for different ports).The older generation WD drive (the all black one) works completely fine with no problems.
