Honestly this thing work well

This thing just started beeping and broke after one year of very light use.

Really love this thing, I needed to download some games and bring them over to another PC

The only negative thing is that there was no instructions on how to use this external drive as a backup

I just didn't like the connector on the disk side, though the whole thing works pretty well.

An important thing about a backup drive is that it should only be active during backups, since if a hacker gets access to your system and encrypts your data, you don't want your backup drive to be active and encrypted

Hopefully a new usb cord will do the trick, other wise I’m screwed 😩

I lost about 500G of data when this totally died on me after about 2 months of use
