Trying to play any other file types (AVI etc) just produces the the message "Server Too Wimpy"

Second, WD has a known issue with this product that if drive bays 3 & 4 are empty you will receive very concerning error messages "Event title:Drive Failed" - this can stop your heart!

In fairness I get sporadic messages about not being unable to Sync certain files and that it would re-try shortly, so maybe it hangs in between

WD also has a very good reputation for the quality of their hard drives, as well as for customer support.

Just got this NAS to help me backup my photography as well as give me access to all my files on the drive while away.

I have since ordered 6 more for various clients as well as for internal use
