I'm sure there are better NvME drives out there, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal for what you're looking for

As for being faster in other ways or noticing a difference between running everything on the NVMe vs SATA SSD, I can't tell a difference, but I know by my test that the NVMe is definitely faster

This WD black NVME idles at 36 degrees Celsius and only hit 43 degrees under load during a drive benchmark.

Got this on sale for $60 so even better value for a super fast NVMe Gen 3 x4 3D NAND TLC SSD

While not the newest/fastest NVME drives on the market, these drives have a decent price and give me a noticeable boost in IO speeds compared to the older/slower SATA III / SSDs

I purchased the 1TB model to use more as a game drive, as I have a faster primary NVMe SSD

For the sub $10 cost difference for WD Blue vs. WD Black in the 500GB size I spent the extra money to get this black drive and can say it super fast, probably one of the fastest NVMe drives I have used, it feels faster than my current Samsung EVO 970.

and I figured that a faster nvme ssd was not worth the difference as a sata ssd is still much faster than a hard drive.

This is the best budget NVMe for gaming so far
