weBoost Drive 3G-Flex Cell Phone Signal Booster for Your Vehicle

    • Cons; Made to be hands free only, phone must be in cradle for boost
    • I was at first doubtful this product would work because i could not find any comments related to using a smart phone like the IPhone.
    • It is the new LG smart phone
    • I love the phone, but my home signal is still the same.
    • I kept my land line because I wasn't sure if I could trust the cell phone to work in an
    • I already used a Bluetooth ear devise, so have no problem leaving my phone in the Wilson cradle
    • But for the 3G phone this works great.
    • I already had the roof-mount antenna that I had used with one of the Wilson antenna pigtails that hooked into the antenna port on the phone, but I wrecked several phones as apparently if the antenna port becomes damaged, it kills the internal antenna as well (Moto W385), so I wanted a "cordless" booster of some sort.
    • The box and infomercial said it works with all smart phones.
    • So unfortunately I can't speak to how well the phone works with its boosted signal, but once my hubby gets a hands-free device, I'll update my review and let you know.
    • , protective phone cases will interfere with the signal induced from the amplifier
    • This year with the Sleek, 2 and 3 bars, clear crisp phone calls and rapid data
    • Further, our AT&T cell phone was not viable because the signal was spotty at best--it would fluctuate between zero and 2 bars on the Samsung Captivate phone.
    • And then I remembered something I read recently in all of my exhaustive research for a good phone with a good signal booster that didn't cost $250.00, require the use of my DSL and it doesn't have any big red V on it
    • It's a great phone that gets no reception complaints in its reviews
    • My Android phone becomes useless for data services as well
    • A friend stopped by with a fancy phone and guess what . .
    • Like a lot of us, I REALLY need decent phone reception in my car
    • In spite of getting a better phone and changing carriers, the calls frequently dropped from the home office and we couldn't get 3G to download email; calls dropped all along the road into town, too.
    • Pros; Relatively inexpensive, holds most phones though marginally for iPhone 6plus
    • It occurred to me to try it with my kids non-smart phone, and bingo that phone shot from 2 to 5 bars immediately
    • I have a small boost mobile sanyo not smart phone.
    • Worked good with AT&T does not work with Verizon phone that well
    • Basically a nice phone holder.
    • Just got a smart phone that shows signal strength
    • My wife works from home and needs a consistent phone to talk with clients
    • This cell booster does not work well wth sprint nextel phone
    • I connected to my cell phone with a Panasonic phone via Bluetooth as well as the speaker phone on the iPhone
    • it works great in the truck, and I would never go again on a long trip without the sleek.oh and one more thing, for traveling with the sleek I recommend using a bluetooth headset or somesort of hands free device, for 1 reason, it is VERY bulky to hold in your hand with the sleek kit and your phone.
    • I use this whenever I have to make a super important phone call
    • The Sleek comes with different arms of various sizes to hold the phone securely, my Breeze uses the shortest ones, on the inside slots, out of the box it is probably set up for most smart phones
    • While driving to work, what I've experienced with my last several AT&T-approved cell phones is enough to make me climb a cell tower and either start shooting OR fix the damn towers myself
    • I would like someone to answer:The phone is an Apple iPhone with a somewhat wide charging plug; where do I get the proper charging cord that will allow the phone to charge via the receptacle on the booster
    • With the Sleek set-up and the phone in its cradle, operation was exactly the same as it is without the signal booster, so my experience was that the Sleek made no difference in cell phone signal strength
    • That is where my phone began to work.
    • My phone is not a 4g phone so the older technology works for me.
    • A friend had it hooked up to a pole in a tree (with a larger antenna) at a remote campground using extra cable and was using his Lucid cell phone as a WIFI hotspot to run his older computer.
    • It's a nice fun phone with a cool touchscreen).
    • As for the home accessory kit, which is a must-have as well, I have it set at home so that I can place the phone in its cradle and charge and boost the signal for use with my "link to cell" Panasonic 7622 cordless home system
    • It simply just stopped working for my smart phone.
    • I feel as though it may be my phone's fault, but a compatibility issue should be addressed with transparency by Wilson tech support, which it wasn't
    • This was before the smart phone and 4g networks, but still either years later with my smart phone when I needed it
    • Bought our first Sleek at Walmart and promptly headed for the woods, watching both the phone in the Sleek cradle and our other phone without a booster
    • With my phone, and I would assume some other smart phones, that might not happen.
    • After fabricating a 12volt adapter and clamping the antenna on a 6" scrap of sheet metal to a window sill, I slid the phone into place and instantly saw 3 bars
    • Only boosts one phone.
    • I can even use my smart phone for what its meant to be
    • My phone is loose with the tightest arm in the tightest position but it doesn't fall out and gives me a boost of one to two bars, all I need.
    • Not only can I have my phone (Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch) charging at the same time, but if I'm on battery, the life is extended because the phone doesn't have to waste power always searching for a stronger signal
