This unit works great with our 3G phones
-
this unit does work
-
This unit really works!
-
I live in a rural area of northern Michigan and had poor to terrible coverage on my phone in the car this wonderful unit has solved that with flying colors.
-
To keep the unit clean and dry I placed it in a ziploc bag
-
This unit works perfect, went from 1 signal bar to 5
-
The cost is less than $100 and, in our location, he thought it might work just as well as their more pricy units
-
The unit will get hot around the antenna connection: it won't burn
-
I have had issues with cell reception both in my house and when travelling (I live in a rural area) and this unit has been a great improvement!
-
The unit was easy to hook up, except for the antenna adapter issue, and it is nice to know that I no longer need to get in the car to drive to where I have cell service to talk to someone.
-
And also the unit will be a little warm with long term use.
-
They either got a defective unit (rare for Wilson products but if that's the case they have some of the best back-end customer service out there and exchanges/ returns are simple), or they didn't install properly
-
I could only get a signal if I placed the unit in an outbuilding down by the lake, free from the obstruction of trees near the cabin
-
This unit originally came with the little 5" inch antenna and it boosted my 1/2 bar up to 1 bar
-
Just received Wilson Sleek and initial tests (unit mounted in car - stationary, outside and inside garage)did not show any change in the number of "bars" displayed on phone
-
Note to buyer: this is an excellent unit.
-
Living in a remote, rural location, I purchased this unit to boost reception for my iPad.
-
Very nice unit, bought it to use at the deer camp, where there is no cell phone service.
-
At that point I knew the unit I got wasn't defective, but I assumed that it just didn't work with my phone.
-
Works just as good as the bigger, more expensive units, and the only drawback is you have to keep it in the cradle.
-
works well with mifi 3g the only problem was amazon they split up the unit ,booster/ antenna verizon brought this to my attention and once the two were put together the way they were intended, wow works great best part it travels.
-
In spite of the sales hype to get you to by a newer much more expensive model sleektalker, this unit works just hunky dory fine with 4g.
-
For those who claim that it doesn't work, either you tried it in a lead-lined room, received a defective unit, or maybe it doesn't work with your carrier's signal.
-
And Wilsons new company gives very slow replacement of defective units.
-
The unit uses USB for power and includes a car socket adapter, but a USB wall charger should work for indoor use as well.
-
This is a well designed unit
-
Works just as good as the bigger, more expensive units, and the only drawback is you have to keep it in the cradle.
-
At this point, after a couple of weeks, I'd say that this unit has resolved the issue completely.
-
We do see an improvement from 'no bars' to enough 'bars' to make a call with a 2G phone with T-Mobile but inconsistent, not due to the booster but due to a weak tower signal
