I went from a single bar to solid service just by installing this near a window

I just wish this was not an issue, because I do travel in areas with marginal cell phone service.

There must be service of some kind in order for this to BOOST services.

When used in my truck in a remote area in the Virginia mountains with an iphone, the signal went from no service to 2 dots out of 5 with solid 3G service

Bought this for a field technician that had spotty service.
