An extractor needs to be harder than the STUCK screw it is trying to extract

Even trying to drill into soft brass wood screws did not work.

Removing a stripped screw seems like it should be as slick as pulling out an unstripped screw

After I finally drilled out the screw head enough to accept an extractor, the extractor snapped mid-way down the threads

While using the ex#10 extractor on a hardened screw it snapped the tip off, I then went to drill out the broken tip from the screw and the ex#10 drill broke

It didn't take nearly as long to remove the screw as I had been expecting after reading other reviews, probably because the screw I was removing was relatively soft and drilled easily.
