By my estimation, I have used this drive for approx four months before it failed
-
Anyway after 3 yr and 4 months it failed like clockwork and took my files with it
-
I lost six months of backups
-
A few months after the first drive failed and was replaced the second drive began making loud noises like something was broken inside.
-
its been a month no problems yet
-
It failed today, 4 months after it's 2-year warranty expired

-
After one month, no issues and very pleased with the enormous amount of recording capacity available.
-
Then, about a month after that first crash, the drive crashed again, and this time even Disk
-
Just a few months after the 2-year warranty expired on the one I bought in 2013, mine started showing serious signs of age
-
HDDs should last about 4 years, this one died around 8 months
-
It's been 9 months of 24x7 service and no issues thus far!
-
This drive suffers from horrible I/O errors if you ever try to do any kind of constant writing job, such as extraction of an archive file or configuring a virtual machine on the drive, or other program installation
-
Raid 1 rebuilt the array and no i/o issues.
-
I can't even restart some of the virtual machines because as soon as they try to load from this drive, it reports an I/O error and ceases operations for that virtual machine
-
Great price on a 1T hard drive.
-
Had it installed a week ago & what a difference....had a 1.6 GB hard drive that crashed & now with the new 1T hard drive
-
This is my 3rd 4T drive--all excellent and reliable.
