Seagate sucked the big one... and sucked it hard

However, I can upgrade firmware and verify firmware on Seagate hard drives.

Lasts longer than a Seagate....failure rate is much lower than with Seagate.
-
It's probably just me, given the reviews Seagate products usually get, but I've had a 50% fail rate for Seagate hard drives, both of which were under four years old
-
I returned this drive to Amazon and purchased a Seagate hard drive to replace it
-
Easy to install with the data bank, do NOT us the Seagate hard drive it is a waste of money, you don't need to format this or anything, slap it into the data bank and reinstall from a flash drive (fat32 & over 1GB) and you will have an upgraded system.

Replaced a 3 year old worn out Seagate and gained 250gb
-
My original Seagate hard drive was failing as was listed as such in SMART reporting.
-
I opted for the WD as the Seagate was unavailable
-
Run as fast as you can and don't look back!
-
i recommend as it could be used for backups or in my media box as I am using it
-
" I ordered with this, as well as trying two different sata connections on the mother board and two different power connections (supplied by HP in my computer)
-
Removed it from the case and i have it lying around as i don't live in the US and sending it back is as expensive as buying a new one
-
All of the drives are still holding up just fine as of today

-
