I'm getting bad sectors on the hard drive.

Bought 3 of these drives in Oct and had one starting to fail with bad sectors.

This is my 3rd 4T drive--all excellent and reliable.

This drive suffers from horrible I/O errors if you ever try to do any kind of constant writing job, such as extraction of an archive file or configuring a virtual machine on the drive, or other program installation

Raid 1 rebuilt the array and no i/o issues.

I can't even restart some of the virtual machines because as soon as they try to load from this drive, it reports an I/O error and ceases operations for that virtual machine
