    • I'm getting bad sectors on the hard drive.
    • Bought 3 of these drives in Oct and had one starting to fail with bad sectors.

    • and you're generally assured that you will not run into any surprise bad sectors as you use the drive.
    • After that it started reporting bad sectors all over the place

    • I purchased this drive in March of 2015 and it has become useless with bad sectors and random disconnects as of December 2016

    • This drive suffers from horrible I/O errors if you ever try to do any kind of constant writing job, such as extraction of an archive file or configuring a virtual machine on the drive, or other program installation
    • Raid 1 rebuilt the array and no i/o issues.
    • I can't even restart some of the virtual machines because as soon as they try to load from this drive, it reports an I/O error and ceases operations for that virtual machine
