I would have no problem purchasing this again as a starter kit, but if you are needing to use something like this very often you may want to consider buying something more extensive.

I recommend this kit for beginners but if you are even remotely looking into getting into cleaning / maintaining your own firearm then this is like a Mickey Mouse socket set your father gives you when you're 15

In conclusion, this kit is decent (due mostly to the case) for use with most pistols and some (common) rifle builds, but I wouldn't expect it to make you even an intermediate gunsmith

If you need a good kit then this is definitely one you should consider.

I still think it's a great kit, has multiple of some (the more common size) punches and the hammer is great with one side plastic and one metal, great for any punch needs and a great price on it.
