I managed to remove some extremely stubborn sights from my Ruger LC9s with a little patience and some medium-force hammering

These punches did work for floating the sights on my pistol

The hammer is extremely useful for tapping misaligned sights into alignment (don't ask).

Used 20.oz hammer and 1/4 inch brass punch to remove sights which were very tight but punch did not bend or mar sight

Pretty pleased with the brass punches, changed out sights on a S&W Shield with these and they worked

The hammer is only useful for small things like removing roll pins, it's useless for more difficult tasks like removing/replacing stiff handgun sights.

Made removal of my factory sight easy and installing my new sights a simple chore.

These punches worked great, though the brass actually managed to mar the sights on my M&P9c

The front sight was very hard to remove but the set withstood all the pounding and swearing

The polymer punch worked perfectly for knock out the rear sight and tap the new one in.
