A credit or debit card can be used as well but the Wii points card is the most cautious way to buy them

I love the points cards i have bought 2 already and plan to buy more and Amazon is the best place to get them at the best price its Great!!

But those selling the cards charging them over $20 when the card itself is worth approx $20

Despite some other comments about this item being kind of expensive on Amazon (At least mine was), be aware that compared to other scratch type cards (ie: calling cards, lotto tickets, etc)this card is kind of difficult to scratch without risking to damage the written numbers underneath the protective coating

Second: They make fantastic gift cards, especially if you happen to know someone who can't get enough of classic gaming!

I love these cards

While you must get on your Wii or DSI to purchase them that way, even these cards cannot be redeemed unless you can already access the wii/ds shop.

This card is very useful if your credit card is not acepted in the wii store on line.
