but I would recommend first putting the box right next to the amp and checking what your signal is

oddly the electronics in the 300:75ohm box work well at boosting the VHF signal when I used a quality 15db amplifier, but didn't do anything for increasing the UHF SVI 1 Port Cable TV/HDTV/Digital/Modem Amplifier signal levels also vary by tuner - with older ota+qam flat screen tuners picking up better than newer atsc converter boxes.
