Suspect the little adapter box for the cable is defective.

Box was damaged and parts were missing

I is not some magic box that gets you the best picture and clearest picture each and every time.

It was windy for the paste few days an the antenna "box" became loose due to the wind

The unit is a great initial idea... however the cheap board and box for the coax connection is SO cheap and poorly engineered

but I would recommend first putting the box right next to the amp and checking what your signal is

oddly the electronics in the 300:75ohm box work well at boosting the VHF signal when I used a quality 15db amplifier, but didn't do anything for increasing the UHF SVI 1 Port Cable TV/HDTV/Digital/Modem Amplifier signal levels also vary by tuner - with older ota+qam flat screen tuners picking up better than newer atsc converter boxes.

The box that attaches a a little flimsy and the contacts could be unreliable initially or after some weathered-use

The very long box arrived a little worse for the trip but the contents survived nicely
