Works great and I installed the preamp 15 feet down from antenna after cable enters house, not like you should: about 3 to 5 foot from antenna on the mast.
-
The plastic housing for the cable termination fell apart and after 2 emails the company gave me a phone number that didn't work to call for a replacement part.
-
I have an antenna mounted in the garage(1 story) attic which gets decent reception, but not as good as the house antenna which is also mounted in the attic(2 stories.)
-
I put the power inserter conveniently at the point the coax enters the house, before splits to various home runs throughout the house
-
The part missing was the housing and circuit that converts a 300ohm signal to 75ohm - without this you have nothing
-
No u-bolts to struggle with--easily attached to mast with included zip ties.
-
CM with a metal U bolt and nuts (more secure and easier to remove.)2

The ability of a TV tuner to "tune in" a particular signal depends entirely upon the difference in strength between the signal and the surrounding electrical noise, called the signal to noise (S/N) ratio.
