Winegard LNA-200 Boost XT HDTV Preamplifier, TV Antenna Amplifier Signal Booster, HD Digital VHF UHF Amplifier (10x Power, Low Noise, 20 dB Max Gain) - USA

    • excellent picture
    • I set it up and it seemed to interrupt the connection so the picture was actually worse.
    • I picked up no new channels and no better pictures
    • I could not keep stations on as they kept loosing the picture or the sound or both
    • On my roof, which is at a very challenging location inland from the San Francisco bay area and about 36 miles from the Sacramento stations that are transmitting from Garden Grove, California, the Winegard FreeVision wasn't quite as good as the little UHF-only Eagle Aspen double bowtie but, because the Winegard FreeVision also has three horizontal rods, it worked somewhat (meaning it just barely got above the strength and quality thresholds to get a steady picture observing the meters on my test tuner) for channels transmitting on RF VHF (in my case, 9 and 10) whereas I tested the Eagle Aspen on a roof in San Francisco where it received the RF VHF channels 7 and 12 because of the extremely strong signal location
    • I is not some magic box that gets you the best picture and clearest picture each and every time.
    • Every 20 minutes or so a truck would drive by and we'd loose our television picture
    • I believe it helped the antenna I installed it in the attack and it picks up all the stations and my TV has the best picture it has ever had!
    • More specifically indoors, without amplifier, 10Ft above the ground this antenna received 55 channels from transmitters 10 miles far from my home, and displayed crisp pictures
    • Easy to install, super clear picture even 27 miles from the tower
    • Really makes viewing TV nicer now that we can get a clear picture and lots of channels
    • Occasionally I get some digital dropouts due to wind or bad weather but for the most part it provides an exceptional picture
    • Very good, better pictures than the lower cost antennas.
    • Suggested a neighbor who also bought the Mohu Air 60 from Best Buy to try the Boost XT and same results, perfect picture
    • and they all have a great picture with no additional line boosters.
    • We thought we'd get more channels we only got a clearer picture
    • It does not always bring in clear pictures, is the antenna's fault or the stations transmitting system
    • But when I installed/connected the Winegard Boost XT with the Mohu 60, PERFECT picture and received over 50 channels.
    • Crystal clear pictures from 100+ channels broadcasted from towers 30 Miles away in suburban area
    • It changes my weak stations form intermittent to stable pictures.
    • Enjoy the best picture quality available this side of a Bluray disc
    • It is not like the analog days where built in rabbit ears and tinfoil could give you a decent black and white picture
    • Improved picture quality and more channels
    • If your antenna with no amp, cannot pick up a somewhat usable picture, forget the a Amp as it will not work
    • away, both get beautiful pictures
    • Why pay $100 + /month for cable (usually with compressed HD signals and poorer picture quality) when this system will do an equally good (or better) job for a one-time $1000 investment (the cost of cable for 1 year.
    • Great picture and more channels
    • The digital picture is amazing
    • It all works beautifully: crystal clear HD picture and sound, TiVo two-week programming schedule, and four-channel DVR--just like cable, but no monthly fees.
    • It all works beautifully: crystal clear HD picture and sound, TiVo two-week programming schedule, and four-channel DVR--just like cable, but no monthly fees.
    • Very low noise and low distortion which means you going to get the best picture possible with the signal your antenna provides
    • I installed the Winegard last night in the same attic location and get a great picture on all channels.
    • Instead, he hooked up his faithful Rabbit Ears, turned it on, and found the picture so lacking he actually believed there was something wrong with the set
    • Is the picture perfect
    • Hard to imagine that splitting the signal as is among multiple TVs would produce a clear picture on all, but I didn't try that.
    • The antenna worked very well and gave a better picture than Comcast
    • and I get a fantastic HD picture!
    • If symbol quality drops, you can lose the picture entirely and will need to wait until enough information buffers (one the quality increases) before being able to view the channel again
    • In my area, channel 13 is in the VHF band and was always iffy -- with this amplifier, I have full signal strength and a crystal clear picture full time; I was only getting 3 bars (out of 5) with the previous amp and the signal would drop out frequently in bad weather
    • I expect the plastic will weather deteriorate quickly and then the delicate circuit board, well you get the picture
    • My husband went online to figure out what direction to point this antenna to so as to pick up the clearest tv picture
    • However, the antenna by itself got great reception & when I inserted this preamp, the picture actually got worse
    • The picture is sharp and clear
    • And, believe it or not, the pictures are much clearer than the compressed video that cable TV uses
    • Picture is crisp and clear.
    • so it is on a desk behind the tv pointed in the direction of the stations and the picture is crystal clear on all the channels we pull in which are many!
    • Outstanding picture
    • It was easy to assemble and install and made my wife happy to see the clear picture so quickly and easily
    • Channel 11 didn't increase, but 83 indicates a strong signal with a perfect picture
    • The Winegard Boost XT was critical to achieving a clear HD picture, including all the major networks!
    • Great picture
    • I had a beautiful picture on the tv!
    • When one of the heavier showers came through, the picture finally froze
    • Paired with an RCA Yagi (like Denny's EZ HD Antenna) it provides an excellent picture
    • Works great for me, great HD picture👍
    • As a side note, if you are interested to know just how good the picture on that new tv can look, an antenna like this provides a superior picture to any of the local cable providers.
    • We have only hooked up the outside unit onto our antenna and we have all the stations with a great picture!
    • out then for a few days straight it'll be a clear as day picture
    • It improved my T V signal and was easy to install.
    • No u-bolts to struggle with--easily attached to mast with included zip ties.
    • CM with a metal U bolt and nuts (more secure and easier to remove.)2
