I had 13 channels before installing the lna-200 and now over 30 channels with good quality reception

I have the thing behind the tv screwed directly into it and get all the networks in UNREAL quality

Consistent high quality.

So for inside use it does not improve quality or number of stations,but would probably work super outside mounted high.

The TV transmitter is about 55 miles from my house, and without the preamp I only get around half of the available channels with around 75% signal strength and intermittent quality.

it's broken or just poor quality

I've used cheaper RShack amplifiers before and dealt with poor signal quality or dropouts from oscillation

I have good quality fringe antennas connected to LMR-400-75 coax so there is nothing to be gained by going with the Winegard amp

The reception from this antenna is awesome, I highly recommend it, just make sure you use a better quality coaxial cable then the one supplied.

Finally, the power injector power plug is made of very cheap plastic that creaks when you squeeze it too hard and doesn't feel like acceptably sturdy quality even though it is working.

Now, remember, antenna height and length of coax plays a big part in how far you can receive, but, sufficiently high, (30 feet or more) with good quality coax, as short as possible with as few connections as possible, and you will be impressed

Didnt hurt the signal quality either though.

Used an inline signal booster to gain better than cable picture quality and freedom from Comcast.

We went from spotty channel performance to having 49 channels with excellent quality.

The HDHR software also allows you to see the "signal quality" which is very important b/c if you have a high signal strength, but the quality is poor, it won't make any difference in viewability.

I kept thinking I needed bigger and bigger antennas, and placed these antennas higher and higher into the air to lock on firmly to my weak channels, when all I needed was a quality preamplifier like the Winegard LN-200 to eliminate my interference issues.

Excellent quality and pulls in many more stations than slightly cheaper Chinese made ones do.
