Winegard LNA-200 Boost XT HDTV Preamplifier, TV Antenna Amplifier Signal Booster, HD Digital VHF UHF Amplifier (10x Power, Low Noise, 20 dB Max Gain) - USA

    • I had 13 channels before installing the lna-200 and now over 30 channels with good quality reception
    • I have the thing behind the tv screwed directly into it and get all the networks in UNREAL quality
    • Consistent high quality.
    • So for inside use it does not improve quality or number of stations, but would probably work super outside mounted high.
    • The TV transmitter is about 55 miles from my house, and without the preamp I only get around half of the available channels with around 75% signal strength and intermittent quality.
    • it's broken or just poor quality
    • I've used cheaper RShack amplifiers before and dealt with poor signal quality or dropouts from oscillation
    • I have good quality fringe antennas connected to LMR-400-75 coax so there is nothing to be gained by going with the Winegard amp
    • The reception from this antenna is awesome, I highly recommend it, just make sure you use a better quality coaxial cable then the one supplied.
    • Finally, the power injector power plug is made of very cheap plastic that creaks when you squeeze it too hard and doesn't feel like acceptably sturdy quality even though it is working.
    • Now, remember, antenna height and length of coax plays a big part in how far you can receive, but, sufficiently high, (30 feet or more) with good quality coax, as short as possible with as few connections as possible, and you will be impressed
    • Didnt hurt the signal quality either though.
    • Nice quality antenna
    • Used an inline signal booster to gain better than cable picture quality and freedom from Comcast.
    • We went from spotty channel performance to having 49 channels with excellent quality.
    • The HDHR software also allows you to see the "signal quality" which is very important b/c if you have a high signal strength, but the quality is poor, it won't make any difference in viewability.
    • The quality is good
    • Interestingly; my tuner still shows perfect signal level and quality at channel 44
    • My TVs are 4K, so it was very important not to have the grainy quality and added noise that cable introduces
    • Antenna is good quality and the price is reasonable.
    • Using high quality RG-6 coax and split to 3 TV's
    • No new channels but improved the quality for the ones existing.
    • Good quality was able to pick up 48 channels
    • Once I did that I was amazed at the improved video quality and addition of new channels
    • I live on the edge of reception for a few of the local channels, and this booster improved signal strength and quality enough to eliminate any blocking or audio dropping issues
    • Great quality and price would recommend this to anyone wanting to "cut the cord " to cable or satellite
    • Winegard used to make good quality products but they seem to have really gone down hill with no quality control whatsoever now.
    • It is important to note that this does not improve the quality of the signal coming from the antenna.
    • Enjoy the best picture quality available this side of a Bluray disc
    • Good quality antenna, easy to assemble
    • The product itself is of good quality, it just didn't work for my area
    • Improved picture quality and more channels
    • Why pay $100 + /month for cable (usually with compressed HD signals and poorer picture quality) when this system will do an equally good (or better) job for a one-time $1000 investment (the cost of cable for 1 year.
    • Quality is much better than I was getting with standard cable
    • The first surprise that I had with switching from cable TV to antenna TV is that the quality of the picture was better
    • This product did measurably increase the signal strength of all the broadcast stations over the signal strength without the booster in (the 270') line, but the increase was not dramatic, so during foul weather we still lose acceptable picture quality at times on some stations.
    • I installed the Winegard Boost XT using two good quality RG6 1.5-foot pigtails from Amazon (Search for this ASIN: B00LETANJY)
    • UTF8&psc=1I live 30 to 50 (air miles) from Jacksonville FL transmitters and receive 40 channels and HD channels were amazing quality.
    • This is a good quality pre-amp.
    • So for inside use it does not improve quality or number of stations, but would probably work super outside mounted high.
    • I kept thinking I needed bigger and bigger antennas, and placed these antennas higher and higher into the air to lock on firmly to my weak channels, when all I needed was a quality preamplifier like the Winegard LN-200 to eliminate my interference issues.
    • Excellent HD picture quality
    • I've seen situations with decent signal strength with low quality led to poor quality image,as I've seen weak signals with high quality that provided excellent TV image
    • Free, get this very good quality outdoor antenna!
    • This product will not pull in channels your antenna is not already picking up and will not enhance the quality of your poor connections
    • Arrived as expected - decent quality for the price.
    • overall, I went through my channels on a usual antenna setup then connected the amplifier and receive a way better channel quality with much less signal
    • Excellent quality and pulls in many more stations than slightly cheaper Chinese made ones do.
    • While we did not experience the gain of any new stations, as has been reported by some, the improved viewing quality is WELL worth the purchase.
    • That's how the tuner can not lock in to them, although the signal quality and strength are perfect
    • Unfortunately, quality of inventory isn’t so good
    • Good quality, using with a booster for 70 mile reception
    • Good quality at low price, but did not allow reception of all channels I had hoped
    • With the preamp, I get all of the available channels from the transmitter with 100% signal strength and perfect quality.
    • and I get all my locals in great quality!
    • No u-bolts to struggle with--easily attached to mast with included zip ties.
    • CM with a metal U bolt and nuts (more secure and easier to remove.)2
    • 90%, an amplifier might not make any difference as you can't improve on that for a digital signal
    • The signal was great but when we added a splitter, the signal deteriorate a
    • The antenna was missing a
    • so out goes the device; disappointing as this is one of the first items from Amazon that didn't work as it said it would.....
    • It improved my T V signal and was easy to install.
