If you change the quality of the print you can print beautiful 13x19 pictures or even 8x10 pictures

HOWEVER,.... I just learned and confirmed with Epson Tech Support that THIS PRINTER WILL ONLY WORK WITH ORIGINAL EPSON INK CARTRIDGES

RecommendAll fo these manufacturers are going to contract tech support - don't expect high quality tech support.

I called tech support they said because it was a used printer that it don't come with a manual

As I said, the B&W print is quite decent, and having the larger size tray will be useful for some people, though only if you'll use B&W.

The major draw back to a regular Epson printer, however, is the rate at which they chew throw ink to get these results, and to get the best results, you need to use Epson photo paper so the inks perform as they should.

This printer might be useful for someone who has to print on large paper frequently and just needs "good" but not "great" results.

Print head is failing printing very erratic

The print was clear and the color on the photos were crisp and clear.

It prints great if it’s running, but due to the ultra fine print head if it sits for more than a couple days without printing it will get clogged

Once that is done in about 10 seconds, printing is easy and fast

My printing look like burned ink, in three different kind of paper and cardstock

on the new set I now have magenta head clog - had to clean the print heads twice - this sucks a vast amount of ink out of the carts - one sets of original EPSON ink

The color settings in the Epson's setup are also much more limited than the Brother's, where you can make a large number of color tweaks to get the best possible home-printer output

If you need a large format printer capable of of more for a lot less money, consider the Epson WorkForce WF-7710 which does more and as good as this unt for $50 less.

Yes, the large format is great and I will use it for the very specific needs that I have for one, but I'm surprised by the outdated controls and the lack of other by-now essential features.

I recommend the Epson T252XL-BCS Combo Pack which consists of a black high capacity and c/m/y standard capacity cartridges.

It refused to print anything, insisting there was a paper jam

But after 142 sheets printed, it began giving me an error message that there was a paper jam, but THERE WAS NO PAPER JAM!!!

However, it has a bad habit of picking up multiple sheets of sub paper at once (and therefore messing up some or all of the sheets because it causes paper jams or prints one image across more than one sheet of paper)

I holds hundreds of pages, and while I did not time its output of text it turned out pages rapidly without the paper-jams or other issues I've had when turning out larger jobs (for me meaning 30 to 50 pages at a time) from other printers
